Cup Coral 2

Cup coral prefers shaded areas where there is some water movement. At night they extend their tentacles and feed on material floating past in the current. They grow at depths of 3-120 feet. Like branching and brain coral, cup coral is a stony coral, which is the primary building block of tropical reefs. A school of Anthias are moving about this reef with yellow cup coral. [BM] {PH}
