There are approximately 50 species of Sea snake. These reptiles which once came from the sea to land, have returned to the sea. They can be found in the warm, shallow waters of the tropics. Specifically, they are abundant from the Persian Gulf to Japan and southwards to Australia. All Sea snakes have flattened bodies, often with paddle-like tails. MORE! [BM] {FW}
