Racer
The Racer snake is neither poisonous nor constricting. It captures prey by pinning it to the ground
using its long, slender body. Depending on the size of the Racer, insects, frogs, rats, weasels or rabbits
may be eaten. The largest of the Racer family is the Black Racer, reaching a length of 3.5 ft. They range
in colour from black to green-brown, with a paler underside. MORE!
