The Night snake ranges in size from 30cm to 66cm. This slender bodied snake is cream, yellow and grey with darker spots running the length of its body. Feeding on frogs and lizards, the Night snake holds its victim with sharp, enlarged teeth as it's toxic saliva slowly paralyzes them. This nocturnal snake lives in arid and semiarid habitat where there are rocks or sand. This reptile ranges from central Washington as far south as Costa Rica. [BM] {AS}
