Common Kingsnake
The Common Kingsnake is a large, constricting snake, reaching up to 209cm in length. The skin pattern
is highly variable in shades of brown, black and creme. This species is active during the day, becoming nocturnal as the weather warms. The king snake
feeds on other snakes including Rattlesnakdes and Copperheads, as well as birds and smaller reptiles. Found
in a wide variety of habitats the Kingsnake can be found in the southern half of the United States.
