Copperhead 2
This species can most readily be seen basking in the spring and
fall. During the warm summer months the Copperhead becomes nocturnal. The habitat of the copperhead includes rocky woodlands, near streams, ponds or marshes. They range from
Massachusetts west to Nebraska and as far south as Florida.
