This snake kills by injecting its prey with venom. The venom of the Boomslang is more potent than that of the Cobra, it is perhaps the most fatal of all snake venom. The Boomslang must chew on its victim so that small drops of venom may enter the bloodstream. The venom trickles down grooves in the rear fangs. [BM] {FW}
