Western Fence Lizard 2
The male Western Fence lizard will bob its head to drive off other males and show off its blue throat to attract
females. This species is quite common from Idaho to Nevada and along the Pacific coast. It can most commonly
be found in rocky and mixed forest habitats. As the name suggests, this lizard frequents fence posts, old
stone walls and buildings.
