Glass Snake
The glass snake looks like a snake, but is, in fact, a lizard. The largest species of glass snake can reach
over 4 ft in length. They are characterized by their long, cylindrical bodies and snake-like locomotion.
Like the worm snake the glass snake has adapted and has become a legless lizard. The anatomy of
the glass snake is quite extraordinary. Two-thirds of its body is composed of tail. MORE!
