Bunch Grass Lizard
These elusive lizards are small and flat-bodied, reaching only 10cm in length. The scales running along the
back are pointed and arranged in parallel rows. The brown to yellow colour is highlighted by orange strips along
the sides. Males are further decorated by blue on the belly. This species can be found in bunch grass and
leaf litter where there is shelter and an abundance of insects. Their range includes Arizona, New Mexico and Mexico.
