These lizards, related to iguanas, are constantly fighting, stirring up great commotion. They are 1 ft in length and change colour as determined by hierarchy. Dominant males will have reddish-orange heads, deep blue bodies and striped tail. The submissive males will be grey-brown in colour. All agama have a loose fold of skin on their necks. [BM] {FW}
