The diet of crocodiles
progress from small insect larvae when they are young to large birds and mammals when they are full
grown. Crocodiles are also cannibalistic and will eat crocodiles smaller than themselves. For this
reason basking groups are always sorted by size, the smaller crocodiles keeping a safe distance from
