Snake-necked Turtle 2

Sorry, No Picture! The extended neck of this turtle is advantageous for life in shallow waters. They are able to rest on the bottom while extending their necks like snorkels to breath. These long necks are also snapped forward quickly to catch unsuspecting prey. The snake-necked turtle is found in South America, Australia and New Guinea. [BM] {FW}
