Loggerhead Turtle

Sorry, No Picture! The loggerhead is a true turtle, like the green turtle and the hawksbill turtle. It is similar to the green turtle distinguished by its larger head and different colours. The loggerhead is oval in shape; the shell is approximately 40 in long and only 3 ft wide. Like the other true turtles they lay their eggs on land. Loggerhead turtles have not suffered the same fate as green turtles because they are not considered pleasant to eat. MORE! [BM] {FW}
