Green Turtle 2
Valiant attempts have been made to restore the turtle population and to protect this species from humans and natural predators. The meat has a green colour and from this the turtle has received its name. The green turtle reaches an average length of 3 to 4 ft and weighs between 300 and 400 lbs. Green turtles live in the shallow waters of tropical seas. [BM] {FW}
