Bullhead
The bullhead fish has a very large, flat head, tapering toward the tail. They reach lengths of 8 to 10
cm and are coloured with dull yellow, green and brown. Being nocturnal creatures, they feed at
nightfall and hide in crevices during the day. They are more secure in the dark and
are known to bury their heads in the gravel if attacked. This is a false sense of security as most of its
body remains exposed. Most fish belonging to this family are marine.
