Living in rivers or seas, trout depend on clean , well oxygenated waters. Many trout are eaten by other animals such as heron, rats and mink within their first 3 to 4 months of life. This river otter has just caught a trout. It is estimated that some 94% of the young do not survive. [BM] {FW}
