Bombay Duck
The bombay duck is a deep sea fish. It shares characteristics with salmon, although it rarely reaches
lengths greater then 40 cm. It has a wide mouth and sharp voracious teeth used in eating shrimp and
small fish. The characteristics of barbed teeth and large mouth are common to deep sea fish. Bombay
duck is a favourite food in India. It is found in great numbers at certain times of the year in the Indian
Ocean.
