Barracudina
There are approximately 50
species of the relatively unknown barracudina. All barracudina have thin, slender bodies, pointed
teeth and are fast paced predators. Reaching lengths of only 1 cm, the barracudina is a deep water fish
found in every ocean except the South Atlantic and the Arctic. Although this pale skinned fish is quite
small it occurs with abundance and is very important within the food chain.
