Sailfish
The sailfish is one of the fastest fishes, able to reach speeds of 60 knots. Reaching an average length
of 8 ft. the sailfish lays its large, sail-like dorsal fin in a groove when travelling at high speeds. The
sail is most often blue, patterned with darker spots. The body is compressed from side to side and is
drawn into a sword-like beak forming its upper jaw. MORE!
