The marlin, as many other fast fishes, requires a great amount of food to provide energy for the tremendous speed. Some species reaching lengths up to 14 ft, can weigh as much as 1560 lbs. Found in the deep, choppy waters of the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans, this fish is a favourite among game fishes. [BM] {FW}
