Fighting Fish

The fighting fish is a beautiful fish that will fight till death. The natural species reaches lengths of only 6 cm, however selectively bred fighting fish can be much larger. They are yellowish brown until mating season when the male turns dark shades of metallic green, deep blue with red edged fins. In Thailand these fish are used for sport and bets are placed. This form of recreation is particularly inhumane when opponents are unevenly matched. MORE! [BM] {FW}
