These fish can literally explode with rage. When the male mates with the female he gently wraps his body around hers and brings each individual egg to a floating raft of bubbles he has created at the surface. There are 7 species of fighting fish found in southeast Asia. They are popular aquarium fish, however they have a life span of only 2 years. [BM] {FW}
