Croaker
Croaker fish are singing fish. There are approximately 160 species of croaker, each species joining
in the choir of the sea. Perhaps 'singing' is too gracious a term for the noise which is made by this fish.
Croakers are said to make a melodious noise, but more commonly it is described as a creaking,
croaking, drumming or snorting noise. Like birds, croakers are known to sing at sunrise, sunset, at
mating time and as an emotional response. MORE!
