Archerfish
The archerfish has the remarkable ability of shooting small droplets of water at insects above water,
thus knocking them down and eating them. The archerfish can easily hit a target 6 ft. away. With
mouth just above the water line the archerfish is able to shot water by quick compressions of the gill-
chambers. The young archerfish is able to only shot water a short distance, however with age the
range and accuracy increases. MORE!
