There are over 350 species of anglerfish. All these different species share the common characteristic
of angling. Like a fisherman, the anglerfish has a spiny rod on the dorsal fin with worm like
appendage. This rod can be extended and retracted to entice unsuspecting fish. When the little fish
comes near the anglerfish, with speed so great the human eye is unable to perceive it, the little fish
has been snapped into the wide jaws of the anglerfish. MORE!
