Alaska Blackfish
The Alaska blackfish lives in freshwater lagoons and streams in Alaska and in several islands in the
Bering Strait and Siberia. This pike-like fish has dull grey skin with black bars. Growing no larger
then 20 cm this hardy fish survives incredibly adverse conditions. In the warm season it lives in
overcrowded, weed choked lagoons and in the winter it lives in waters approaching the freezing point.
