Gar 2
The longnose gar, found in the Great Lakes has
a slender body with greatly extended nose. This nose, which is very similar to an alligators, is studded
with teeth. The longnose gar can reach lengths of 5 feet. The tropical gar, found in Mexico, can reach
lengths of 12 feet.
