Pollack

The pollack is much like other members of the cod family. This handsome fish has a predominantly green body, speckled with yellow and has a white underbelly. Like other members of the cod family, the pollack has 3 dorsal fins and 2 anal fins, however the pollack lacks a barbel protruding from the chin. Pollack rarely reach lengths greater then 2 ft. They habitat waters from Norway to the Mediterranean.
