Burbot
Sorry, No Picture! The burbot is a freshwater fish, the only member of the cod family living in lakes and rivers. Its nearest relative is a marine fish known as the ling. Like the ling, burbot fish have elongated bodies which can reach lengths of 6 to 7 ft. The burbot is found in European waters. [BM] {FW}
