Pet goldfish can live up to 25 years. Many highbred goldfish have emerged. Several of these freakish fish include the 'telescope' goldfish, with huge bulging eyes and the 'lionhead' goldfish which no longer has a dorsal fin and has grown raspberry bumps across its distended round head. These freak fish are unable to survive under natural conditions. [BM] {FW}
