The herring fish is perhaps the best known and most popular of all fish. The herring fish is by far the most abundant fish, as approximately 3,000 million are caught every year. They reach lengths of 1 foot, have grey, green or brown hues with silvery belly. The herring has the body shape of a typical fish.
