Anchovy
Anchovy fish are harvested in both Europe and North America. Sharing many similarities with
herring, they can be distinguished by their size. Anchovy are much smaller, reaching lengths no larger
then 20 cm. This silvery grey fish has deeply cut tail fin and large eyes. Enormous shoals of anchovy
live in tropical seas, feeding on plankton. MORE!
