Viscacha
There are 2 types of viscacha, the plains viscacha, of which there is 1 species, and the mountain
viscacha, of which there are 4 species. The plains and mountain viscacha differ from each other in
both habitat and form. The plains viscacha reaches approximately 2 ft in length, has a 6 to 8 inch
tail, large head, short ears and strong markings running across its face. The mountain viscacha is
smaller, having a smaller head and larger, almost rabbit-like eats. MORE!
