Tuco-tuco 2
The ears of the tuco-tuco are small, barely visible
folds of skin. The muzzle is blunt and the mouth is fixed with large, broad upper incisors. The feet
are clawed and are used for digging tunnels. The fur varies from deep brown to soft
brown. Tuco-tuco are vegetarian, feeding primarily on roots and grasses. Tuco-tuco are found in
tropical to subarctic regions, with a large population found in Argentina.
