Springhare
The springhare looks like a fanciful combination of a squirrel,
rabbit and kangaroo. With much consideration over classification, the springhare has been placed
in a family on its own. Reaching 17 inches in length the springhare is trailed by a bushy, black
tipped squirrel-like tail, slightly larger then the length of the body. The round head is crowned by
large rabbit-like ears and large, dark eyes distinguishing this rodent as a nocturnal mammal. MORE!
