Sewellel 2
The head is
broad; the ears are short; the eyes are small; the whiskers are long. Sewellels live alone in
underground burrows. Sewellels will swim through their burrows when they flood, which is not
uncommon as the sewellel lives in moist and humid areas, where flooding is common. Sewellels
are found along the far west Pacific coast of North America.
