Paca 2

Generally found in swampy or wet forested areas the paca uses its large upper incisors and strong claws to rip through vegetation while feeding. The paca has acute senses, large eyes, excellent hearing and a strong sense of smell. Comfortable in the water, the paca is a good swimmer and readily escapes using a water route. Pacas can be found from Mexico to Brazil.
