Marmot
There are some 8 to 16 species of marmot. One of the best known members of the marmot family is the alpine marmot. This rodent reaches 2 ft in length and has a fluffy 6 inch tail which is often carried in an arch over the marmots back. The solid bodied marmot has short legs, small ears and large eyes. MORE!
