Giant Rat

There are a number of species belonging to the giant rat family including the Gambian pouched rat. The Gambian pouched rat is approximately 3 ft in length, half of which is tail. The ears are large, constantly twitching and very acute. The muzzle is pointed and the giant rat often smells the air, able to detect the faintest of smells.
