Chickaree 2
Chickarees are found primarily in deciduous and evergreen forests where they feed mainly on pine cones. When the chickarees mate in the spring and autumn, a nest is built in a tree and 4 to 5 young are born. There are 2 species of chickarees; both are found throughout Canada and in parts of the United States. [BM] {FW}
