Sorry, No Picture! Able to swim, the agouti is found in forests and wooded area, often near water. They feed primarily on vegetation, eating fallen fruits and roots. The agouti often feed in large masses of 100 or more. However, they live independently or with several members of a family in a burrow. Found in South and Central America, Agouti are said to make loving pets. [BM] {FW}
