Elephants
There are 2 species of elephants--the Indian elephant and the African elephant. Classified in a
family of their own, they are the largest land animals. The larger species, the African elephant,
reaches 11 1/2 feet in height and weighs up to 6 tons! Elephants have large heads, large bodies,
