Sorry, No Picture! The uakari is distinct among South American monkeys as it is the only one with a tail shorter than the length of the body. The uakari reaches 16 to 18 inches, while the tail is relatively short, reaching only 6 to 7 inches. Uakari are skillful in the treetops, able to move between branches and jump tremendous distances. Uakari monkeys are found exclusively in South America. [BM] {FW}
