Tarsier 2

They are characterized by their huge eyes, large, rotating ears, pointed snout, with sideways facing nostrils and head that can turn almost 360 degrees. They have long legs and are able to jump very successfully. The hands and feet have long, spidery fingers and toes with suction pads and sharp, triangular nails. The fur is thick and woolly, grey or reddish-brown in colour. These carnivores are found on several islands in the East Indian archipelago. [BM] {FW}
