Spider Monkey 2
Spider monkeys are well adapted for their forest habitat as they have
agile, prehensile tails and 4 fingered hands that act as grips. Both the hands and the tip of the tail
have wrinkled skin for gripping. Spider monkeys have nostrils characteristic of those monkeys
found in the western hemisphere: nostrils point outwards, separated by a septum. Spider monkeys
are found in South America.
