Sifaka
The sifaka is a member of the lemur family, found only on the island of Madagascar. Ranging in
length from about 18 to 23 inches, with a tail of equal length, the sifaka is a beautiful creature.
White woolly fur and distinct black markings on the face typifies the most common race of
sifaka. However, other groups have a variety of markings of different colours including red,
