Pig-tailed Monkey
The largest member of the macaque family is the pig-tailed monkey. The male can weigh up to 30
lbs. The coat is brown and there is a black cap of hair crowning the head, distinctively parted in the middle. The tail is
approximately 1/3 the length of the entire body and is carried in an arch over the back. Pig-tailed
monkeys are found from Vietnam to Malaya, Borneo, Sumatra and in Burma.
