To add to their protection the patas monkeys remain almost completely silent. Patas monkeys can be found in bands of up to 30 members. There is only one male in each band and the band is led by a dominant female. Other males form bachelor bands or live as individuals. Patas monkeys are found in the savannah zone of Africa. [BM] {FW}
