Orang Utan

There are 2 species of orang utan, the "Bornean orang utan" and the "Sumatran orang utan". Orang utans are considered apes, in the same family as the gorilla and chimpanzee, although not as advanced. The male orang utan is approximately 4.5 ft in height, and the female is considerably smaller, standing approximately 3 ft 10 inches. This photograph features "Rusty", a male orang utan. MORE!
